It has been a while since we have updated everyone. This past year has been a year of personal trials for all of us in Mime's the Word. As time marches on we keep going forward, with the help of God.

Presently, we are involved in a monthly Prison Ministry which has proved to be a huge blessing. We have had wonderful times of sharing in the services with the inmates.

We had an exceptionally busy 2008. We went on a Mission trip to Wales with a team of 25 from our church. It took months of prepraration. We ministered at a week long children's outreach by day and adults by night!!! It was exhausting but so worth it. Our mime was well received.

Due to personal situations we had to pull back at bit in 2009, but we are all turning a corner and slowly getting back into full swing. Debbie, Carol Ann and myself are working on new material that has us very excited. I was able to attend a convention a few months ago and was inspired and re-energized. I was also able to get some additional balloon training which has opened the door to making balloons for birthday paries in homeless shelters. What a blessing that has been.

Our form of mime uses white face as we perform to music, narrations and of course silence. We utilize props and costume accessories for some skits, and will minister to both children and adults.

My background includes directing drama, teaching in camps, schools and some secular organizations. I have also had the privilege to travel to a few countries on short-term missions trips. I enjoy mime very much and especially like working with young people. They always amaze me. I also do balloon sculptures and am more than willing to teach others how to make them.

Debbie was involved in drama and dance ministry before she became a part of Mime's the Word. She is very expressive and a joy to watch. Carol Ann is super in her character portrayals. When she rolls her eyes as a frustrated store clerk, it is all I can do not to laugh! She too, has great expression!

We all attend the River Community Church in Foxboro, Massachusetts under the leadership of Rev. Michael Bave. Even he has caught the mime bug! He would be happy to give a referral concerning our ministry.

We plan to continue teaching and performing wherever God has opened the door.

If you are looking for mime ministry or mime training please contact us. We are a fun trio!

God Bless
